Ng'niot View point (SSP)

It offers a scenic view of the western rift shoulder (Elgeyo Escarpment) beyond the Kerio Valley and Kerio River. The winding road (SS) is locally considered as an engineering masterpiece by the locals.

This particular area is of economic importance because it is the source of the roof thatch grass (Brychararia rucisiensis) supplied to various destinations countrywide

Dominant vegetation includes Combretum mollee, Tarconanthus camphrotus, Dodonea viscosa and Protea kilimascharica

This point is also a community vantage point locally known as katet. It is also a shrine for women.
